Dear Geraldine,

I couldn't believe how quickly my milk supply increased!! You are a genius! Your eBook covered all my questions and taught me far more than I thought possible! Brilliant, I would thoroughly recommend it to any expectant or new mom! You NEED to buy this book!

Gemma Matthews

Hi Geraldine,

I was so pleased to receive the updated version of your eBook, I didn't think it could get any better, but I loved the routine you included. It is so simple, Esme is sleeping for 6 hours at night and is still gaining roughly 230g each week! I was told this was amazing for a 4 week old baby!

Thank you so much!

Emma Sweeney

Dear Geraldine,

I knew I had buy your book when I saw the information you included on feeding on day 1&2. It has been a life saver! The midwives were so busy, I hardly saw anyone for the first 3 days, but I knew I had to wake and feed Billy, to get the Meconium flushed out! He didn't lose any weight and breastfeeding is going so well!

A big thumbs up to you and your clear and insightful eBook!

Mimi Blackstone

Hi Geraldine,

Wow! Why didn't know about you when I had my first baby? Two years ago I was in tears 24hrs a day with cracked nipples and an exhausted baby who wasn't gaining weight and just wouldn't sleep!

My life has changed completely! Your book was so easy to read and understand, Charlie has been sleeping 13 hours a day, and only seems to wake when he is hungry and needs a nappy change. Thank you so much!

Lesley Wright

Dear Geraldine,

I just wanted to let you know that your program has changed the Thompson household immensely! Having had Charlie by emergency caesarean section, I was desperate to breastfeed and the harder I tried, the less success I had. A friend recommended that I buy your Let's Breastfeed Program as she found the diagrams really useful, and I am so glad that I did. I realised that I was trying to put my breast into his mouth and centre the nipple 'to get the whole areola in' as I had been told by the midwives in the hospital. I had never heard that Charlie needed more of the brown bit close to his chin that the bit close to his nose.

It has made such a difference -- without going into any gory details -- which I am sure you hear everyday! But thank you. I now feel more positive about reaching my 3 month breastfeeding goal.

Warm regards,

Annie Thompson

Hi Geraldine,

Thank you for dropping me details about your online book. I am not a keen reader when it comes to baby books, as there are so many contradictions -- sometimes even in the same book -- you just don't know what you should or shouldn't be doing. Anyway, I main concern was whether Orlando was getting the hind milk, as he hasn't been gaining weight, but his poos are yellow, so I have started giving him both breasts at each feed. His poos are still yellow and he has started to gain 5 oz a week and he is sleeping more at night! (Which is great for me, even though I have been told that I still need to wake him up at night to feed him! I can't bring myself to do this as he looks so restful? Do you agree?) I haven't read the whole book, I was so excited about the 'When to offer both breasts' section, I stopped reading!

Thank you for your time and putting such a great resource together -- it is so nice to just have straight forward answers, no guilt, no pressure or long lists of research papers to chew through, to find out what you are doing right or wrong.

I just want to breastfeed and enjoy it. I don't want a degree in breastfeeding! Thank you for making breastfeeding so simple and transparent.

Hi Geraldine,

You may not remember me (as I am sure you get lots of emails from maternity nannies wanting to train with you) but I emailed you a few weeks ago about doing some training so that I could help my clients with breastfeeding. I was so excited when I received your News Flash that you had created an online breastfeeding guide, I bought it immediately!

It is so brilliant! The other breastfeeding books make everything sound so complicated and difficult to understand with all the medical terminology. I have just brushed through it really quickly between jobs, but I have learnt so much already and have only read it once -- so I will read through it again when I can sit down and make notes! Please let me know when you start your courses, as I will be first in line!

Thank you.

Josie Mannix

Dear Geraldine,

I was going to get in touch with you as I am expecting my second baby at the end of December, but you managed to get in touch with me first! (Can you believe it has been 2 years since that hideous November morning you came round to help a very desperate mother!)

I received your News Flash regarding the eBook you created. Curiosity got the better of me and I have to say, I never expected any book to come as close to a consultation as the Let's Breastfeed Program did.

Having seen you with Millie 2 years ago, I know how beneficial your one to one consultations are, but having bought your program, I don't think I will need to see you when this little one arrives in December! I will keep your number pinned into my phone just in case though!

Good luck with it! I hope you change the lives of thousands of mums, the way you changed mine.

Much love,

Lucy Pollard

Hi Geraldine,

Sorry I have not made contact sooner, Sam is nearly 3 months now and everything is going well thanks to you. Your program was a real life saver. It is the first book that actually taught me HOW to latch Sam onto the breast. Most resources of information I have found just told me what he would 'naturally do' but never did, i.e. the wide mouth! Latching was still a little sore for a couple of days, but I assume that is because they were so damaged already? They were round like jelly tots after feeds -- like you said -- so I knew I was doing it right. The pictures were a great help for Daniel, who was talking me through the technique. He has become a Specialist over night, or at least, so he thinks!

I have told practically everyone I meet about the Lets Breastfeed Program. Thank you so much.

Nelly Grace

Dear Geraldine,

I am just writing to tell you that you have given me the best possible gift - EVER!!

I was not sure what to make of the breastfeeding guide when I first received it -- it was a gift from my maternity nurse who has seen you in action and just raves on about you all the time!

Now, I can honestly say that I will be recommending your breastfeeding guide to all my friends instead of flowers or muffins and have already told them so!

Your guide has changed my life and made breastfeeding the simple and natural experience nature intended it to be. My feeds are shorter and pain free, my son is growing like a weed with his new found position at the breast and I have more time and energy to spend with my husband when he gets home!

So between you and my wonderful maternity nanny, you have helped me achieve my dream of being a confident and relaxed first time mom!

Thank you so much!

Regards,

Susan Moore

Dear Geraldine,

Now I know why my baby's poos are green and that having pinched nipples is NOT a sign that my attachment is good!!

I couldn't understand why I was in so much pain and she wasn't gaining weight, but everyone said that I was doing fine, and what do I know?? Nobody looked inside Jessie's mouth though, until I read the section on 'Tongue tie' in your program. Why doesn't anybody do that as a standard procedure in the hospital? Poor little thing has had such bad colic and loud explosive poos. We are having the tie divided on Thursday and for now, I am just expressing and bottle feeding so that we can start anew after the SNIP!

Great program!

Mia Fernando

Dear Geraldine,

You won't know me as I found your details on the web, but I wanted to tell you that I had bought your on line program, or at least, my husband bought your program, and it has made such a difference already -- in just 72 hours!

I just can't believe that the information I have found in your program is not more freely available to other moms. My 3 week old baby Jack just cried and cried, before feeds, after feeds, during feeds! I was going out of my mind and really considering giving up. But my husband who is originally from Brazil, kept pushing and supporting me to breastfeed, as that is a big part of his culture.

After reading through the bit on Milk Supply, I realised that the poor child was STARVING. I had only been giving him one breast per feed, but he couldn't even have been getting that much, as he wasn't on properly with both cheeks touching. My supply has become quite low, so it was getting more difficult for him to get to the little milk that was there. I was losing confidence in myself and breastfeeding.

Anyway, I am sure that you could have worked that all out -- I am just so grateful that you gave me the opportunity to work it out for myself with the right information and as you call them, 'TOOLS'.

I now offer Jack both breasts, both cheeks touching and doing the massage that you recommend. He then goes onto the other breast when I can't hear him swallowing -- I am not sure if I am taking him off too soon, but his poos are yellow? Feeds are taking an hour as I don't want to give him formula top ups, but I am just happy that he is not crying so much and is actually going to SLEEP!

Thank you so much for writing such a fantastic breastfeeding guide. You are our guardian angel!

Karen Miller

Dear Geraldine,

I don't know if you will remember speaking to me a few weeks ago. I live in Hertfordshire and was having a terrible time with Arthur who wouldn't hold onto the breast and I was in such pain. It was too far for you to travel but you told me about the program. I was ready to give up on breastfeeding but am so glad I managed to speak to you, as things are very different now!

I realised that I was so anxious and nervous of putting Arthur onto the breast, I ended up squeezing his little head and this made him push away from me. I ended up pumping for 2 days, so that my nipples could heal a little, and then attached him using your 'fail proof' technique -- the brushing one!

After going through your diagrams a few times (which were great), I realised that he was too far over -- bottom lip next to my nipple -- so he wasn't able to take in any of my B cup breast!

When I got it right the first time and hardly had any pain, I cried as much as I had been crying with the pain. I was so happy for both of us that we had finally made it! Arthur looked so sweet and it was wonderful to have him so close without the pain and wanting to pull him off the breast. I was also very angry that nobody had told me how to latch him on and that it had taken weeks of cracked, bleeding nipples and so much conflicting advice from midwives and doctors, to finally look in desperation for somebody that would help me or tell me to give up!

All I can say is THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

Now, I don't even think of what I am doing, it just happens!

Sometimes my nipples come out a little pinched, but I think it is just that I am so confident, I am not sitting staring at him, and he does tend to roll back a bit.

You have a fan club out here now! I have told the moms at my coffee morning about the program - who went home and bought it immediately. Thank you again for your help and kind words, I couldn't have done it on my own!

With kind regards,

Annie Pollock

Hi there Geraldine,

I hope you had a great holiday! I thought I was going to give up breastfeeding when you said you were away for a week and couldn't see me before you went!! But, you will be pleased to know that I bought your program and after going through it slowly, coping on 3 hours sleep, I learnt how to get Sophie onto the breast without that excruciating sharp pain. I was dreading feeding times, but things are getting easier everyday and Sophie is only 15days old, so there is still time for improvement! The program has been fantastic and has answered all my immediate questions. Thank you for everything.

Kate Barnes

Dear Geraldine,

I am a mom of a 3 week old and having had a very long difficult labour and delivery, I just couldn't cope with breastfeeding, all the pressure and conflicting advice and more importantly the mastitis and bloody nipples! I just wanted to enjoy my baby, so I decided to stop breastfeeding. I know that breastfeeding is best for mom and baby, but I feel like I am losing precious time battling and fighting with her every 3 hours. I was greeted with such hostility at the local breastfeeding centre when I said I wanted to stop, so I did some research on the internet and found your program.

You are the first person who has respected my decision and given me clear outlines to follow when dropping feeds to avoid another bout of mastitis. Your approach is so kind and gentle, yet straight forward and practical! I am enjoying Zettie so much more and know that with your support and guidance, I will be able to feed my next baby effortlessly from the start.

Thank you for making such a difficult time less stressful.

With love,

Shana Benson

Hi Geraldine,

A friend told me about your workshops as well as your Let's Breastfeed Program. I have bought the program and after reading through it, I feel really confident that I will be able to feed my baby when he finally decides to make an appearance! I don't know whether there is anything more I could possibly learn from the workshop, as your program covered all my questions and so much more that I hadn't even thought about!

If you feel that I would still benefit from attending your Breastfeeding workshop, would you kindly drop me a line.

I look forward to hearing from you.
