Breastfeeding, what could be more natural and perfectly designed for you and your baby?
Breastfeeding is a skill and an art which develops over time, starting with the first time your baby suckles at your breast. For many mums, this is a wonderful and positive experience.
I truly believe that information is empowering and allows mums to choose an experience which is perfect for them and their families. Not only that, but information allows mums to create a map of how they can actively achieve their ideal breastfeeding experience.
Beyond the early days and weeks, I also wanted to enable mums to recognize and manage common breastfeeding challenges such as engorgement, growth spurts and feeding patterns.
Many parents would like some structure so I have also included information on expressing, bottle feeding and going back to work.
Here is what other mums have said:
Dear Geraldine,
I couldn’t believe how quickly my milk supply increased initially…the tea began to work immediately and I noticed my breasts getting fuller within a few hours. I am not that full any more although I am still taking the tea – is that ok? I know that my supply is good as Jack sleeping from 7pm to 5am without a dream feed and is gaining weight beautifully. We are both so much happier and it is all thanks to you and your ‘Let’s Breastfeed’ eBook!

Mary followed the Milk Increasing Routine in Chapter 10 and found her supply increase pretty much immediately!
Dear Geraldine,
Sorry I haven’t been in touch since Christmas. I just wanted to update you on Alisha’s progress… the breastfeeding’s going great and she’s sleeping from 7pm until 6am with a dream feed at 10:30pm. She’s also growing brilliantly and making her way up the centiles for both weight and height. We’re so pleased with her progress and can’t thank you enough for your help.
Best Wishes

Dear Geraldine,
My friends told me that the midwives would be very busy in the hospital over Christmas, and as it happened I hardly saw anyone for the first 2 days. I bought your guide on the off chance that I would need help and I am so grateful that I did. It was really helpful to know which signs to look for, to know whether or not she is getting enough milk.
We are doing fine now. Tilly is almost 6 months and still feeding though I could to with a little more sleep!
I would have been lost without your guide in the early days!

Georgia found Chapter 5 – Feeding Strategies for the first 3 days really useful as it outlines what to expect and what to do if things aren’t going as well as they should be.
