Let's Breastfeed

Hold that thought!

Are you finding that holding your baby during the feed is becomming more and more uncomfortable? Is your baby growing in length and weight so quickly, you simply can’t find a way to get comfortable? Are you feeling trapped by your reliance on the 20 cushions you need to feed your baby?

Whilst positioning your baby properly in readiness for feeds is really important, the way in which you hold your baby duing the feed, will also have a massive impact on your breastfeeding success.

Keeping your baby up close to the breast will ensure that he or she is able to milk the breast effectively and minimise any damage caused to the nipple area.

This means that both you and baby will benefit from learning how to best support baby during feeds, whether you rely on breastfeeding cushions or not.

It is important that any support you invest in, will not move or alter during the feed, as this is very likely to cause you a lot of pain.

Ensuring that the correct amount of pressure is applied to the correct part of your baby’s body when latching onto the breast and when supporting baby during the feed, is key to your success.

As this is paramount to your success, I have outlined simple steps to facilitate this in each eBook. Be sure to get every step right and you will enjoy wonderful breastfeeds!

Happy feeding,

Geraldine
